State Farm usually gives you full retail on a total loss. Still, I make that $22,000 on an IS350 with luxury package and Nav.

If something ever happened to my car id be pissed since the money I spent so far went down the drain.. But afterwards id probably buy some sort of nice German car too but with a long long warranty. If not then id get an ISF in a heart beat

$388 a month x 24 months = $9,312
$88 (insurance) x 24 = $2,112
Gas?
Oil?

I didn't add any mods besides replacing the stock hid bulbs for a Philips ultinon which costed about $250.

I'm paying less a month for the BMW and my insurance is $802 for one year.

And yes, I'm definitely planning on extended warranty when the original runs out. I already had to take it in for a stuck hood problem. BMW took 3 days to order the parts and replace. They also gave me a 2016 loaner for those days, which wasn't needed but nice.

Didn't know that.
A few days later, my car is up for auction on iaai.

After having the car for a week, I decided to debage it and stick a M badge on the trunk. I got flamed pretty bad on the bimmer forum...

You'll suffer the same fate here. We're a little nicer though lol.

I'm not sure what you expected, lol. It's like putting an F badge on your IS350.

Yeah I would remove that M badge asap before some BMW enthusiast does that for you

I figured it'd be okay since the M is pretty much everywhere else on the car. But apparently, the trunk badging is only reserved for actual M cars only like the m3/m4

Ah, that's right, you have the M-sport package. Still, it's analogous to putting an F badge on a F-sport.

Haha they're right. My 2011 IS is non F sport and I have a ton of Fsport parts But I dare not garnish my ride with an Fsport emblem. Lol the hate is real....

Did you have any mods on IS350? Asking cause you said 328 handles much better....i figure IS350 with sport suspension and f-sport sway bars should be about equal, no ?

I feel you brother! I had the 350 also and sold it for a 335IS. Love it. Miss the reliability of the Lexus but my new 335IS is so much more fun and faster, with 320HP and 370 ft/lb. I ordered a JB4 tune but i still haven't installed yet. Kinda debating since i'm still under factory warranty and don't know if i'm ready to void it yet lol. Anyway, enjoy the new Bimmer and don't EVER put an M badge on the back of a non-M car.
