Default Headlight replacement please help!!

Hey guys,

I have an '08 is250. I currently have the HID lights, but I was wondering if I would be able to replace the housings with aftermarket halogen projector lights.

I know it's certainly a downgrade, but the HIDs are just getting too expensive to fix.

I just want to know if the wiring harness is the same, or if I will have a nightmare of a time trying to make the swap.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yeah, it should be plug and play but you'll lose the AFS.

Others have reported that removing the AFS fuse extinguishes the warning lamp.

Simple use aftermarket HID kit with your existing housing. If you are having that many issues you certainly have bigger issues with your lighting system which may be the reason for failure of the same.

Why not fix the problem? Trust me Halogen is not the route you want to go because they plainly suck!

Is the AFS fuse in the fuse box on the passenger's side under the glove box?
