Default Motor Oil Question

I run My 350 hard and I seem to burn oil. I am using the generic stuff from the dealership. I was told if I use some better oil (RL,RP) I might not burn as much. What oil do you guys run in your 350? If it is Redline or Royal Purple do you like it and where do you buy it?

i run RP HPS. I noticed smoother start up and that's comparing to other used is/gs' back when I worked for Lexus. It has extra zinc so that should prolong engine life and decrease bearing wear. Film strength is one of its strong points.

Used Mobil1 full syn since 31k miles, now at 97k...never burnt a drop of oil. Even went 12k miles without an oil change at the last interval; didn't want to wait that long, circumstances just delayed the change.

Are use mobile one or Pennzoil ultra synthetic oil. I beat on my cars all the time and race everything. These 2 oils hold up really good. I made videos of cars I scrapped I removed the antifreeze and ran the engines with different oil brands to see which ones will hold up. Also it's normal for the isx50 to burn a little bit of oil as the pcv system is made to lube the upper valve system. I found that out when I worked for Lexus.

I also heard replace PCV valve might help with oil leak. I'm going to replace it only cost about $10 for part and do it myself.
