Spec - D tail lights installed.-imag0962.jpg

I just got mine today and installed them with the help of a friend a little while ago, and I must say they look fantastic!! I was skeptical because of how they look in pictures but in person they are much much much nicer! I highly recommend getting these tails! Glad I chose spec D in the end over Nigel or even 78works.

Here's more pictures with a little more daylight. I also must note that the red of these tail lights is indeed a lighter shade of red compared to OEM. However I kind of like it lol.

Also for some reason it is super hard to get an accurate picture of how these tail lights look. I tried with my HTC 10 and my nephews iPhone 6s Plus and neither can get the color right for some reason. Perhaps a more professional camera would do it. Anyways here's the pics!

I ordered them from CarID.com , they're listed as Chrome/Red Fiber Optic LED Tail Lights. They're the full red option.

Just finished installing them. Pretty easy and straightforward. After installing one side and doing a comparison in the pics, I was relieved to see the brightness is on the level of the OEM lights. They look great and definitely worth the money

Wow you got yours quick! How you liking the new look to your car? I think they make the car stand out real well and around here in Modesto especially since I have yet to see another IS with these lights on. Spec D for the win!

Also I see you also struggled to get an accurate picture of the lights too lol. They come out really bright for some reason on cameras. Although to be fair I do think they are a fair bit brighter than OEM. Especially the reverse lights! Lol

Looking good. Loving mine. Just fyi, I found that the relays or whatever for the back up lights got seriously hot if left on for long periods of time. I try not to leave my car in reverse for longer than needed periods to prevent them from getting hot. I spoke with spec D reps at Toyota fest this year and they said that shouldn't be happening and was happy to replace the relays for me, which I have yet to do. I figure I'll just be careful with not suing the reverse too much.

lol yup, I love the look. And I have also not seen another 2IS around here with these lights yet. Nice design, bright LEDs, and easy to install (except for removing all the pins for the fabric in the trunk). Im very satisfied
