Default Update

So first issue has arised...

The outer led strip came loose and it's just dangling inside the housing. It's suppose to be horizontal. It's a small detail, but it's still an issue.

I contacted CarID and they asked me to send it back. I have yet to recieve the shipping lable but we'll see what they say.

Other than that, I've had a good amount of people come up to me asking about the tails. No doubt they do look good, but that quality is questionable right now =\

How do the reverse lights compare to stock? Do they work with the rearview camera at night? Im curious about these lights because in the photos they show the red tint going all the way to the edges but in your photos and in the videos there is a black line around the edges... I'd prefer to have the completely red type but I assume that is not what I would receive since you recently ordered yours. See the comparison pictures bellow.

The reverse lights are decent, i have no issues in reverse at night.

And yeah i was also expecting to have the entire light red, but in person they have the black outline. I have a black roof and blacked out emblems so it works out nicely.

This is my current set-up, black spoiler (until I CF it), black inside the Lexus emblem, black wheels. I think it pulls the black outlines on the taillights well. And no issues whatsoever with the reverse lights.

You know I was originally against these 3IS styled tail light conversions and thought it looked better stock. But now that Im taking a second look at these I can say without a doubt that I am going to be ordering these soon. It makes the car look newer or as others put it "refreshed". Much nicer than the Nigels in my opinion too. The reverse light of the Spec D is what really does it for me and also the fact the light lights up more evenly than Nigels in the night time.

Thanks for posting these pics, It really helps to see what these look like before making another car mod purchase. I look forward to getting mine
