Default 78WORKS New Headlights

78WORKS known here for their new taillight designs

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-lights-5.html

Are releasing new headlights for our car to be released next year. My understanding these are NOT direct replacement for factory HID equipped cars.

No word on pricing yet but hopefully these will be at a price point that would be an affordable alternative to the 2012 LED factory lights

Is there any difference in looks between the 78works and the ebay one?

The only difference I see between the two is the side reflector. Ebay is orange and 78works is clear.

Orange is a US DOT thing. Japan doesnt have the same regulations. My 78work tails are technically "illegal" in the US because theyre Japan spec; meaning they have a clear side marker on the tail, not a red one.

Their tails arent that much, I dont think their headlights would be that much more.

Their tails are less than $500, I dont think their headlights would be that much more.
you might be right but the price gap between tail lights and headlights isn't usually small, and 78 works is quality stuff

All of the headlights that I see on eBay say they are for cars originally equipped with halogen bulbs; the OP says that these are for cars with factory HID.

Exactly, my tails from, "78", were quite cheap as compared to their head lights. A good note about their headlights is HID as mentioned by Bichon. Halogens are awful, imo.

I am quite interested in these myself so I shot them a message over FB and instagram.

As for price point, its still undetermined, however their tails are about 450 USD. That being said I dont expect the headlights to exceed 800~1000.

Very excited for these headlights to come out as Ive been dying to do the conversion.

It would be great if an English speaking person that knows how to read Japanese would translate the Facebook post. Be interesting to know what lines that the automatic translation interpreted as:

"L-LED Lamp position in the latter part of passengers subdirectory"

or even better:

"Hotel reception desk and started to."

really mean.

Bichon I'll try to get my friends to translate, I can do it but takes time, and get info unless someone beats it to me.
