Default Frozen touch screen

My touch screen just stopped responding today. I saw the DIY of how to repair the ribbon cable. Id rather not go through all that so I found this on ebay. Just wondering if anyone out there can confirm this is legit so im not wasting my time. Also if anyone has experience from another seller or maybe an OEM screen where I have to pay a little more im ok with that. I dont want to put crap in my car thats going to break again in 6 months. Thanks

If your car is 06-08 then you're good to go but if your car 09+ You better check the ribbon cable before buying cause they may use 8 pins cable

You also need double sided tape to secure the touch panel.

The touch screen came in today. There's a clear plastic film on each side.Does anyone know if it should be removed before installation or left on?
