Default lowered my car today; Auto-level headlight doesnt work now

Hi All,

I Had my car lowered today with H&R springs, and now the auto-level headlight feature doesn't work. Nothing on the dash is blinking, but headlights don't go up/down at start up like they did before lowering.

Car: 2011 IS 250 F-sport RWD
Springs: H&R sport springs (1.4 front, 1.3 rear)

I've searched and found threads about how to adjust the sensor on the driver side rear control arm, and will do this if it's the right fix, but wanted to know if that will fix my issue. It seems that this solution is for people who have a warning on the dashboard- I don't have any blinking lights

If this is not the correct solution, please let me know what is. the car looks great with the springs, but I don't want to sacrifice factory features if I don't have to. This car is a CPO still under warranty for another 3 years.

thank you,

Tom

Nice F-Sport IS! I have H&R Springs on mine too. I made sure to tell the installer to keep the arm in the correct position.

Nice to see the quick help here. I also have H&R springs and it's a perfect setup for daily on uneven roads. I had them on my GS as well. Great product for what they are till u roll out to a meet ^_^

Road magnets go lower but I like meaty tires. H&R spacers in the future? When they settle u will like them more... but for sure sunken in on stocks. Plan on coilovers cause you will come to that bridge sooner than you think even though H&R puts out a solid spring.

well, Tonight I loosened the bolt and centered the sensor arm right in the middle. the auto-level didn't come back on, and by the time I got it back down to test the lights it got dark.

is there another position I should be trying? From reading the other thread, lowering it all the way down didn't seem like the answer.

it was in the upper 1/3rd of the track/guide before I adjusted tonight, just for reference.

any thoughts or ideas?

i had the same exact problem. no one will or can even give you the right answer. i tried everything placing it different positions. now my driver side headlights are too low and no matter how much i try to manually adjust they wont go up. i went ahead and just installed hid fogs and was done with it
