Default Looking at buying 2IS

Hey all, I am looking at two of them right now

2006 IS350 RWD w/ Nav 108700 miles
2008 IS250 AWD no Nav 121815 miles JTHCK262082025636

I looked at the 2IS buying guide but the Lexus owners website isn't working so I can't create an account... When I click the join button, it goes to the registration page but everything is greyed out and I can't click or type in any of the boxes.

Both are the same exact price. Which one would you lean towards just from the info above?

I personally would lean towards the 2006 IS350...You get lower mileage, NAV unit, more HP & RWD!

Hope this helps!

Explain, more horsepower? The engines are exactly the same, as are the transmissions. I just bought an IS350 with 40k miles, loving it so far. JUST saw it, AWD 250...I seriously forgot there was a 250, lol. Yeah, 250 is boring, plus it has problems with carbon buildup, unlike the 3.5 V6.

The enines are not the same.... IS250 = 2.5L V6 @ 204 HP. IS350= 3.5L V6 @ 306 HP....
As for the tranny being the same.... I don't know... But I don't see a RWD and AWD tranny being "exactly the same" but I could be wrong?

My 250 used to have carbon issues, I used the Royal Purple fuel system cleaner every 2nd or 3rd oil change.
The tail pipes wouldn't be a mess, I would get alot less soot on my back bumper aswell...

Good luck with your purchase!

If you drive both an IS250 and a 350 in the same day, you'll never go back to the 250. Totally go for the IS350!

That's a shame, considering it was once a 35k car. Some people just don't care I guess. What area are you in? What's your price range?
