Looking to give the wood panel-looking trim in my IS the boot. Can anybody shed some light on this modification? Looking for DIY center console and door trim make over...wrap..plastidip? Other types of options/applications to change out the wood trim? Tips? recommendations as far as vinyl wrapping (carbon-fiber type or not), Any insight would be appreciated. Photos as well. Thanks!

 

The woodgrain was hand finished by Yamaha master piano craftsman though

My IS came with ugly brown-green wood grain. I swapped it out for piano black in the console and door panels, and it wasn't difficult to do. I love the change - made a huge improvement in the look of the interior. They have several color options on the site.
