Default Single Insert Wheel Locks? Keep your investment safe.

So I'm looking to add some extra security to my wheels and I'm wondering if you guys know any brands of single wheel locks. I'm looking for the one where you have to insert something into a hole. Whether it's a shape or something like this. I need it to be chrome. I agree it looks whack to not have all the lugs looking the same but I'd rather feel more reassured than deal with it.

No Mcgard or Gorilla locks please or that magnetic one.

Are these kinda lug nuts reliable? You use like an Allen key to open it and under there's a hexegon key spot

Wheels locks really don't prevent a-holes from stealing your wheels. They just make stealing the wheels take slightly longer.

Yeah, I lost the wheel lock that came with the car and after spending $15 on a set of reverse threaded sockets to remove them, it took all of 1 minute to get the 'lock" off.

d1spec has some heptagon shaped steel lugs. They seem to have chrome, black and two color. I think they are massively sold fraudulently so be careful where you shop. Also, their rep is not that great. The bad rep may be due to people buying poor quality counterfeits though.

volk racing nuts is the worst i had, don't get it and cost $200 for a set? horrible and worst design ever had.

I used to have one of these on my Integra back in the day. Only if I parked it overnight outside would I use it. With the price of Volk lugs, you can get 4 of these! Lol

I have Volks on and haven't had any problems with them. jonathanz what issues did you have? Everyone's correct, that if someone wants your ***** their gonna take it, depending on how much time and energy they'll take on getting it. Reality is that a professional can take anything they want very quietly so that being said............
spend it wisely.
Just make sure you have ins to back up what's on your car ie....expensive wheels, stereo system. It's worth paying a lil extra to cya

Like others have said locks are essentially useless. They're only used as a deterrent. As we all know having expensive wheels is like wearing gold chains like Mr T. it draws attention. Some of it good and some of it bad.
Ill use this analogy:
Wheels are like having a stack of cash sitting on your living room table where people can see it from the sidewalk. Wheel locks are like having your front door locked instead of just closed. Either way they can steal it. It just depends on how brazen the thief is.

If you want to have any semblance of security you need comprehensive insurance for modifications.

I just want to make it at least a little harder by locking the doors to the wheels LOL. I'm also considering installing a tilt alarm too. My car is rarely parked outside but I just want to be assured anyways
