Default USB iPhone Songs Repeat All

I drive a 2012 IS350 with the navi unit and it seems that every time I plug in my iPhone, it automatically puts my playlist into repeat all when I originally have it off. Every time I hop in the car, I have to manually turn it off on my phone after I plug it in because the car automatically turns repeat all on. Meanwhile, I always have shuffle on and the car seems to know to keep it on shuffle but it does not know to keep repeat off.

Does anyone else have this issue? Has anyone been able to fix it?

I have not seen this problem. However, since the iOS 8.0.2 update, by BT and USB connectivity is not working to the point that I've stopped using it until iOS 8.1 comes out.
