Default IS350 F-Sport guide and maintenance?

Hello guys I am new to the Lexus IS scene and I have some information I would like to find out about maintaining an IS350 F-Sport. I came here over from the BMW scene (2007 335I E92, wastegate blew at 101,000 miles exact ) The BMW was a hand me down from my dad at 92k miles. Anyways I just want to know if there is a general guide for maintenance for the IS350 F-Sport, like when I should do the routine checkups and the price ranges. I would also like to know if there is a difference in problems and care between the regular IS350 and the IS350 F-Sport. My IS350 F-Sport was second hand for 33k with 7k miles on it HAHA. I would also like to know about getting started with the mods and also us as a community. If anyone could help it would be great! Thanks Guys

Just your normal maintenance, Just to let you know there isn't much big performance ad-ons to the is350's due to the ECU yet to be cracked after several years. You can still add a supercharger but roughly at 6-7psi I don't really remember, but the car is really reliable and not much really maintain unless your tracking or "stancing" your car out. Good day

Welcome!
I came over from too many BMW's, and the best thing about this car is you can forget about all of that preventative maintenance you read about when owning a BMW. The first thing I wanted to know when I got my 2010 IS 350 was if I needed to flush the radiator, do the brakes, etc etc. As the other post here said, it is a reliable car. Just follow the schedule on line or in the manual.

Welcome to CL and congrats on the new ride. It's just general things that you DON'T need the dealer for minus a good mechanic that can do the brake fluid flush. Radiator flush is at 100K, cabin filter, air filter, brakes, tires, oil change as mileage is due. That's about it. It says it all in the manual also. Have fun modding and use the search function to look up certain topics.

Thanks guys, that was an ease of mind knowing I would not have to go through the BMW troubles with my Lexus. I am glad that it only requires basic maintenance. I will definitely have fun modding this baby
