Hey lucky news owners, please share your 0-60 for the IS350 F-Sport. I had a test drive yesterday and i felt it slow though, i think something is weird...

It is better than that. All manufacturers claim higher as to avoid legal issue with guests. Lexus rated it at 5.3 0-60 a few years ago on their website then updated to 5.6.

Agreed with corradoMR2, relative to what? You do realize the IS350 gained 66lbs vs the outgoing model. Did you think it was supposed to beat the 2IS? Other than the 8-Speed auto which has close ratio's, the old 6-Speed auto had such aggresive gearing. Both cars utilize the same 3.5L DI V6. So in a drag they are probably within 10ths of a second of each other. The whole point of the 3IS was to improve one thing.. "fun to drive" which they nailed. It was made to handle. The 3IS is a porky little entry level sedan. The 3-Series and ATS are the lightest in class, while the G/Q50, C, A4 and IS round out the rest. Again the 3IS is not made for the quarter but rather the twisties. If you're looking for a straightline monster, look elsewhere.

When I sat in the 335 Sport-line several months ago and when I sat in the latest IS250 F-Sport last week, the IS just felt more solid and well put together just in tackling the corners--the chassis just seemed more rigid and had less flex. Interior wise? No contest, the IS interior just has better build quality, fit-and-finish.

And how accurate is that? I'm guessing they fudge the numbers a little so you feel like a rock star, since 4.9 in an AWD is pretty... well a lot quicker than what they're rated for.

i had a test drive today again with the IS 350 Fsport and got 0-60 in 6.8sec, it felt very slow, i did another 0-60 with my 2007 G35 and i got 5.8 (bad tyres). However, there is one thing, the test drive happened in the city of Dubai and here we have Dunlop tyres instead of Bridgestone Turanza + the temperature today was 122F , Do you think guys this will justify the 6.8sec? Please your advises

The Dynolicious App for the Iphone is very very accurate! You can read hundreds of reviews about people testing it at 1/4 dragstrips and it was within .01
The key is the make sure you calibrate it first, then find a spot where your phone wont move.
Most of my runs were 5.3, 5.3, 5.5.. but its funny, its always my first run of a few thats my best. Probably bc the engine is cooler. Also weather makes a big difference. My best run was at 57 degrees at night.

Again this car is not made for straight line speed folks. Lexus or rather Junichi Furuyama the head designer for the 3IS set out to do one thing. Make the IS the most "fun to drive" car in it's segment. It's a handler kids. So once again, if you're looking for straight line speed, look elsewhere. IS350 simply blends power with fantastic handling.
