Default visualgrafix: 2015 IS350 F-Sport

Just a place for me to post as I go. I am not a car guy, but I am into design, art, etc. I like to make everything around me aesthetically pleasing (to me, of course, as that is subjective).

Got RCF bushings and RSR Down springs installed (front only), and replaced some bulbs with LEDs.

thanks, it was kind of a PITA in the beginning because it was my first time. i think if i did it over i would do a better job.

the car is AWD. it feels fine to me. after i put new wheels on i'll consider if i need the back lowered at all, whether on half downs or downs. (i'm not sure if they offer half down for AWD though)

I have an AWD too, trying decide if it's worth it to put on downs. I hate the tire gap on the front and you're right, I don't believe they make half downs for AWD. Yours looks good with just the fronts. I live in Toronto and the winters are bad, pot holes everywhere so not sure if it's worth it.

yeah, i'm also not into cars being super lowered because i live in new england. however, i do hate the reverse rake in the car so downs only in front isn't so bad at all. also, i drive my subie more often as it's my daily, so the lexus doesn't get as much use when it's gross out. i generally drive the lexus only on weekends during the nicer months.

I have an AWD also and live in Michigan which has similar winter weather as you do and I’ve made it through with little issues. I have RSR downs also and you will still have the reverse take although not as pronounced. Our roads are total crap as well. I’m just extra careful while driving about.

I wish they made 1/2 downs for the rear so that we can lower without reverse rake. if i hate the look of just downs in front with nothing in the back, i may have to go coilovers

@Napalvr that's good to hear, puts my mind at ease a little bit. i'm just paranoid about scraping the bottom on driveways, speed bumps, potholes, snow storms etc. i just got my IS this year so i'm thinking enjoy the stock suspension for the rest of the year and throw on the downs next spring and see how it goes.
