i posted this in the audio forum with no reply, so i'm trying it here. i have Vaistech SL2i in my IS which came with the older style Apple connector. i'd like to use the unit with my iphone5 which uses the Lightening connector. do i need to upgrade to SL3i or just swap the cables, replace the existing one with a Lightening connector cable.

 

If you're utilizing the VAIS Tech unit for audio only, a cheap and easy fix would be to get a Lightening to 30-Pin adapter.
