Default Got my calipers done today - Red :)

Hi ya'll

I got my calipers done today. I chose to go with red. I also ordered the Lexus decals for the calipers. Take a look at the pictures, they really don't it justice. You've gotta see them in person

Not a fan of how sloppy it looks with overspray on the brake pads and brake lines.

+1 and the rusty hats….IMHO painting the rear..very small calipers is pretty cheesy.

the fronts look good but if all four don;'t look good don't waster the effort/money.

Just get the paint off the brake pads and it will look better. I would of gone with just the Lexus name and left out the L emblem.

Sorry guys! First time doing something like this and it was quite a challenge. I'll wait to get my rotors to remove the overspray. Coming soon... stay tuned

We all have to start somewhere with our "mods". We'll cut you a break...this time; but next time remove the caliper from the hub, hang the caliper with an old wire hanger or something from the spring, and remove the brake pads. Then use something (old carboard, painters tape, $.99 plastic dropcloth) to keep the overspray to a minimum.

I would've just slapped the decals on the front calipers without the Big L. Looks a bit crowded! Red looks great though
