Hey all,

I have a '12 IS250 that was involved in a minor fender bender earlier this week. I need to replace the headlight (used lamp is ok) on the right/passenger side. I was wondering if anyone know's where I can pick one up for cheap? I'm in OC but willing to go to riverside or LA to get it. Or online is fine too.

are you not going to file an insurance claim?

 

They're not cheap. Call around junk yards in your area there's one on eBay for $999.

thanks for the suggestion. i found 1 on CL, he says it may fit a 2012 is250. i really only need the shell b/c the headlight works fine.

its from a 2006 is250, would u guys know if it will fit my 2012?

i attached a pic of it from his ad. the man said it may not work on HID light but i don't know if i have HID. its a basic bare bones is250 we bought in 2012.

Looks like you have the halogen headlights.

 

thanks, you're saying that by viewing this pic, right? please forgive me as i'm very car illiterate as i've never owned one before living in southern california where public transportation is not good.

 

The front she'll is the same. I believe they changed some things to the rear or bracket from 06'-12'.

 

Is there any fender damage? why not just claim collision?
