Default State referee ticket

Today I got pulled over for no front license plate, tinted windows, decal on windshield, tire tread is low, and 27154 vc exhaust not in gas tight (gas leak?)

And on the back of the ticket.. it says state referee certification required. I just don't know what happens with this kind of ticket since I never received one before.

When I fix everything and take it to the state ref do I still have to pay a fine for the ticket?

Any experience on this? Thanks guys.

I think the state reff is for your exhuast. That officer must really have a grudge on you and/or the car. He hit you with everything he could find. Removed the tint on the front windows, remove the decal on the front windshield, add a front license plate, put the stock exhaust back on and have it checked by a reff station.

Cop must have had a bad day or you must have pissed him off..

Usually they don't get you for everything. I've been pulled over many times and they normally just let me go with a warning for tints and no front license plate, otherwise its nice to know someone in law enforcement that can sign it off for you. =]

Oh i see i see okay thanks. Yeah I don't know... I think it's because i was trying to turn left on a T intersection but didn't see a car coming from the right side due to a huge truck parked on the street. So i gased it when i saw the car and my car slid a bit. Didn't realize a cop was coming from the left side lol.

Okay i'll do all that, but do i still have to go to court? and pay a fine?

You should call the referee because it says in the CBC that if it would cause "unreasonable hardship" you may be exempt from changing your exhaust. It also has to meet the 95db allowed by CA. Good luck!
