Default Alignment help

My brother took my car in for alignment and they set my rims at 17s for the test. My rims are 18s. Will this still affect my alignment? My next problem is that they never gave back half of my differential fluid. They should of use 1 n 1/2 only.

Shops usually throw out the rest of the fluid that they do not use.

The alignment specs are the same for both those 2IS models with 17" or 18" wheels (RWD only, doesn't include AWD).

Yeah, they just tossed the rest of your fluid; they will do that if you don't tell them to specifically that you want to keep the remainder. And even if you do tell them, they might toss it anyways on accident. LOL!

Got home tonight and my bro gave me the papers and a bag with two brake fluid bottles. So they return my brake fluids and no differential fluids. Now im thinking maybe they didnt change my fluids. If i open one of the screws do i need to replace the gasket? Im going to check my differential fluids to see if they change it.

If the bottles of brake fluid were unopened then that is reasonable. Once brake fluid is open it is useless unless you use it immediately since it will be absorbing water. I am not sure how the differentials are in the IS350 since my car has so little mileage, but for the S2000 I change the washers out every time I unscrew the bolt since the last thing you want is damage to it.
