help!! coilovers

Default help!! coilovers

friend helped me installed meganez coils and told me he couldn't put the rear sway bar back in place I'm thinking he did something wrong thanks !

oem he was telling me i needed aftermarket ones to put the sways back on and all a chamber kit is this true?

Your friend doesn't know jack....sorry. There's no reason why you shouldn't be able to use the stock sway bar and end links with those Megans. What probably happened was he discovered the end links were rusted up tight and cut them off to help him install the Megans. Same with the camber kit, not 100% needed when running Megans.

You need to jack up the rotor to remove the pressure off the sway bar in order to put the bolts back in

I guess you buddy doesn't know what he's doing. Cause you should never have to touch or remove the sway bar to install suspension on these car.

Like he said. You do have to make sure that both sides are unbolted so one side doesn't have more pressure than the other.

Im currently running Megan Racing LP Coilovers with no aftermarket end links or camber kit and my sway bar still fits perfect without any problem, and like the other poster said, you do not need to touch the sway bar to install the coilovers

still haven't got the sway back on yet any tips i can get the sway back on brackets but the end links wont fit into place would taking of the end links of the bar and putting in those first then the sway work ?

since your having so much problems, I would say remove the coils then reinstall back your endlinks and stabilizer bar then after that's in then reinstall back the coilovers without touching the stabilizer bar.
