Less frequent chimes/beeps?
I've had the Lexus IS 250 C for about an year. I was annoyed by the chimes triggered by various conditions (opening the door before the engine is off, seat belt not on, etc.) But last night I noticed fewer of those beeps. Not clear yet which conditions no longer produce beep. I had a thought that maybe the car is programmed to have 1 year of "education" to teach you proper etiquette and then lets you do your thing... but that somehow seems unlikely.
I like it, as it is much less annoying, but... any idea what is causing this?

If you read the stickies, there are directions to turn off many of these chimes.

Strategeri, the only thing I can think of is maybe the battery on some of these are dead. I don't know if this is a good example, but the last car I had was an Audi and when I locked the doors, it would chirp. However, after 2 years, the battery died and no longer chirped (even though it still locked).

Thanks for the feedback. I don't drive the car much but I'll pay more attention when I get to drive it to better understand and describe what is going on. Maybe I am just imagining this... The seat belt reminder beep for the passenger seat seems to not beep now and it was before... I will need to pay attention more closely to this...
I read the stickies but did not find an answer there.
