Default Low Beam Headlight Flicker While Using ECT PWR

Hey all, recently got some 5000K bulbs from Xenon Dept. Well the other night was I driving when the lights strarted flickering, doesn't matter if on smooth or rough pavement. I tried to think of what I was doing differently, and it dawned on me I was using ECT PWR. I turned it off and sure enough headlights are fine. What the heck? Anyone experience this before? I've used MTech and DDM Tuning in the past for bulbs and I don't recall when using ECT PWR it causing any problems with the bulbs. Strange..

How do you know it flickering when you are driving? Is it that noticeable?? If so, I think you should contact Xenon Depot for warranty.

Because it's cutting in and out so quick that it flickers

I don't see why XenonDepot would warranty a bulb that only flickers when ECT PWR is on. This sounds more like some sort of issue with the ECT PWR itself. Maybe try swapping bulbs back to OEM to see if it does the same thing? I assume the bulbs are the same bulb type and wattage?

Yup everything is the same except these are 5000K vs stock 4300K

Is it driver side or passenger side. I had a power draw issue that affected the driver side bulb when ever I had too many things on. The bulb will either flicker, dimm out, or cut out all together. Found out the alternator wasn't working at full power

Both actually as far as I can tell, its very even when flickering.

I just find it strange that a 'mode' would affect the lights like that

It is weird that ECT power will use more electricity and I don't think this is the case. ECT Power should use more engine power and fuel (for all the crazy reving when your foot is heavy) and not drawing out more current on the battery; even if it does, it should only be insignificant. My HID is the same regardless of what mode i'm running. I have both the Xenon Depot bulbs on one car and Garax on another. No issue like this lol.

Off topic, Hoovey2411, your car bulid is sick especially the wheels. What are those and specs please?

That's what I was afraid of. I've used MTech, DDM Tuning and they never did that with any mode. So now I'm wondering if its the bulbs or perhaps a connection? Weird I've got gremlins 0.o

As to the specs:
