60k service no spark plug change?
If you can turn a wrench, you can install the spark plugs in a 350. If you don't have the right tools, then purchase them with the $$$ you would have spent on labor somewhere else and you get to keep them forever! Remove the coil packs with what I believe to a 10mm bolt holding them down, pop the coil pack out, remove the spark plug, and install new plug (should be pre-gapped too!), and reinstall the coil pack. Do one cylinder at a time so you don't miss something. '
Honestly a 30 mintue job with the right tools.

There are different types of iridium spark plugs, they are definitely not all the same.
0.7mm electrode ultra long-life Denso plugs (which many Toyota/Lexus models do use) are rated for 120K miles, while others like the 0.4mm electrode iridium power plugs are only rated for 30K miles (source). The iridium plugs in the 2IS engines are the Denso "high ignitability" FK20HBR11, with a 0.55mm electrode (source). The combustion conditions can also affect how long a plug will last, in the case of Lexus D4/D4-S engines that use the FK20HBR11 Denso plugs, they are all rated for 60K mile service intervals (source), including 2006-2007 models (source: 2006 Lexus IS250/350 NCF book, Lexus Pub. No. NM0140U, page EG-37 & EG-130, first printing: July 25, 2005).

For safety reason and not having a stalled car, you better change the spark plugs at 60k miles interval. Luckily in Southern CA, I can buy the plugs from Sewell and then let Tommy@MusicBox change it for only $80 which is way cheaper than the dealership which charge the hundreds if not thousands.

Great info - thanks.
I think we all agree, yes you need to change your spark plugs but if you go past 60K and arent experiencing any issues, chances are you will be fine.
There is a whole topic about Tommy@MusicBox on Southern CA section where I learned about him. On my car, he has installed F Sport intake, exhaust, springs, shocks, paint calipers, HID kits, JL Audio amplifier and subwoofer etc... Everything is fine and running strong after 2 years, I'm still looking for him for any accessories install. Fast and simple plus very reasonable price.

Slightly off topic but you guys think the 60k miles maintaince will help a little with my mpg, and also I just put my summer tires on switched from winters. I bought the car saturday. So avrg mpg shows 14.7 and seems to be pretty accurate because on the first half of the tank I drove 125 miles and it's looking similar so far on the other half tank, still got over a quarter left. It's been about 75 city and 25 Highway so far and Yea i just bought it but wasn't going crazy, I did step on it maybe 3-4 times for a few seconds.Well see next tank I don't mind 18-22 mpg but 14 is kinda low..
A previous poster states that the 2007 IS350 plug change interval is 60k. I was referring to the IS250 and LS460. I don't have the IS350 service booklet so this one may be different. What does your Manufacturers service booklet for your 350 say?

I want to order the 60k miles kit from sewell parts website, can anyone tell me if it's official, what I mean are the filters and spark plugs that come withtthe kit oem high quality parts?
If you buy it from Sewell, they are OEM quality parts because Sewell is a Lexus dealership located in Texas. www.sewellparts.com They are also a Clublexus vendor. I have ordered tons of OEM stuffs from them including maintenance oil, filter, F Sport sway bar and so on.
