Default NRG Fender Washer Kit

I've been browsing around and I noticed in a post (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ngine-bay.html) that this guy is using a NRG Titanium Blue Fender/Bolt Washer Engine Bay Kit to dress up his engine.

Are these used instead of the plastic clips that hold down the engine covers? Where are these used? I can't tell from his pictures and I searched the forum but only found where a vender was selling some. No pics.

Here they are on ebay in blue.

These replace the plastic clips that hold down the plastic pieces. They look cool, I may have to try some.

The first photo shows where they go and how they look installed on plastic parts.

The second picture shows them install on the fenders of an older car.

They're actually bolts that screw in. I had them in my engine bay but another brand. I guess you can put them into the engine covers but they won't screw into anything.

sorry to bring this thread back.... (rip)

Do they just sit loosely in the engine bay? wont they fall out?

ALSO: trying to find these in RED but cannot seem to find what size of fender washer i need!! They have red NRG ones but are they a different size? I dont understand what the numbers and letters mean on their products on the website!

I bought some to see how I like them (still on the fence about them) but they are essentially bolts with nuts on the backside. So in areas you can't get the "nut" on, it will just sit there loosely. Also they come in packs of 10, and the front radiator cover has 11 holes lol
