I bought a headlight off ebay to replace my driver side headlight. I know theres a turtorial floating around about how to do it. Here are some pictures of the headlight, I was just wondering if I am missing anything. I guess I could always swap whatever I need from my existing headlight.

 

 

The bulbs and HID ballast looks intact.

The HID bulb seems to be intact but I think it's missing the Daylight Lamp bulb. I have it but I don't know how to install it.

Would more pictures help? I just want to make sure I have my bases covered before I attempt to swap my headlight out.


God I love my IS350 so much even after all these years!!!!

 

I can't tell if the DRL and city lights are on or not because the connectors are blocking the photo.

The DRL is on the first photo in the middle connector. The city light is the one on the right of it with a smaller looking connector. All you need to do is just take off your DRL/city lights and plug it into the new headlight. Just rotate to the right until it locks. And plug in the connector after and that's it.

Sorry to not help you much but to get off any headlight unit, you have to remove the front bumper. There are several screws and tabs to remove the front bumper.

 

Okay I just installed the new headlight but I am missing a 10 mm screw that secures the headlight to the body. Where can I get em? Also I stripped a screw that secures the bumper towards the top of the engine bay.

I also can't seem to get the bumper back on now. Someone help!

 

Also from the pictures can anyone tell if the headlight I installed has AFS?
