Hey guys im mike, I just picked up my first Lexus tonight and i couldn't be happier. I picked up a 2011 IS250 F Sport. Ive always been a muscle car guy, I just recently sold my 2002 Viper gts and was wanting something a little more classier. So what are the must mods for this car? I really think that besides a exhaust there is not really much this car needs

Welcome! It'll be very hard coming from that brute to the IS250. Did you test drive a IS350?

I'd recommend the sway bars as well...along with good tires and good brake pads. You can easily spend 1k on an exhaust and an intake that do not much more than give you some nice noise. Save that money and put them into a nice, lightweight set of wheels.

Work on the suspension. I +1 the Sway bar, rear only for RWD or the set for AWD. I'd Also suggest some small mods here and there: Steering Damper, Coil Overs, FIG Arms, Ball joints. That's all on the handling and feel of the drive. Other than that, a 250 would be all show, but at least you'd feel a comfy ride! =)

I agree. From a Viper to 250? Sounds like you'd need a IS 350 at minimum, if not the ISF

Welcome to CL. You won't get much power out of it like the Viper. I'd say mostly mods for exterior and interior along with what the rest of what everyone else said.

Welcome to CL! Must mods? It really depends on your taste. Wheels are a must, exhaust system, bodykit..etc Best thing about the forum is that if you have questions. The community will help you out. Goodluck
