Before I read your final report of when you picked up the car, I was going to comment there is way too much over-reacting and speculation going on here. All these thoughts about what could have caused the delay were unfounded and no way to be discovered until picking up the car, inspecting it, and driving it. In fact, to speculate a Lexus dealer would drive someone else's car, crash it, and try to hide the repairs is childish and humorous. This is 2013 and this is Lexus. The liability alone in pulling such a stunt would have any dealer out of business years ago. Plus they all have their own insurance, which pays for any such mishap. While some dealers aren't perfect, and your delay was certainly inconvenient, I've heard and seen much worse. In fact, Longo had my car for five weeks just to fix some minor rattles, a burned out headlight, and check for carbon build up. I was more than happy to save 1000's of miles on my car and put it on a brand new loaner.
Count your blessings. They covered everything, did some extra work, and your car came out relatively okay. The chance of a poor tech having a stroke is more concerning than anything.

First I would like to say that I wished the tech the very best in his recovery and medical condition as I am a medical student and understand the severity of a stroke. However, I want to clarify thati has no problem with them making a mistake or correcting an issue they made. My biggest concern is the lack of communication and transparency with this recall. The shop had the car for 5 business days before the tech had a stroke. Again 5 days for a 6 hour job mans no phone call?

roll the windows down... then roll them up and hold the button up for 2 seconds.. 1 1000... 2 1000..... then release ... do the windows individually this will program all windows on auto up and down.

Ooh same to program the sunroof as well.

I just want to point this out for everybody who questioned the validity of my claim against lexus. They said they changed the oil with valvoline synthetic 5w-30 (notice they didn't follow the TSB of 0w-20). they changed the oil and i ran it for 451 miles and had it analyzed after i drained it and it came out black. blackstone report is included below and it should also be noted they broke the engine cover as well. Car is going back to the shop this week to have it completely looked at as its running rough, slow to warm up, and timing seems off. will keep everybody up to date.

WOW! That's BS right there. Fuel and water in the oil? Not good AT ALL!
