Wow guys, sorry for not being able to follow thru with this but its now for sale. I have too many other life priorities at the moment and a good investment opportunity I could use some spending money on.

Its funny how priorities shift but next year at this time I will have a new IS project to report on.

It can DEF. be done as a plug and play. Just need further study time on TSM but my subscription is out and I wont be renewing until my life allows me to once again focus on cars in the near future.

At this point I'm about 25% committed... Have some parts I wanted to "test" out that can possibly be utilized regardless of the motor in my car.

I think it's easy to lose sight of the big picture:

1. My car is my car and it's completely custom with things I would NEVER come close to recouping costs on if I were to resell or part out (example- black interior swap, custom flared fenders, 11+ front bumper, ISF rear bumper and the list goes on and on)

2. My cars resale value is absolute garbage. Selling and adding $14,000 would get me into an 08 high miles grimey ISF. Thanks but No thanks

3. I made 370 whp with a s/c setup I had over $4,000 invested in.
For not much more I have a v8 and stout 8spd tranny that's capable of MUCH more.

4. Consider this- In the end swapping my motor leaves me with a perfectly good engine/tranny from my is350 to sell. That cuts my bill of materials in half for what it's going to take for a successful implementation.

So I say why not? I'm not paying a shop to do this. I'm DIY. I thought this is what enthusiasts do; modify their cars to specific liking.

Made some progress unbuttoning the current engine/tranny... Much of the underside is free and ready to pull. Just need to remove the radiator and all parts/wiring along the top/bottom brackets.

Did this when we had two 50 degree days last week...its freezing now; garage is the last place I want to be spending my nights!

Can you confirm that the front radiator core support is merely bolted on?

Confirmed! That's how I pull(ed) all my previous motors as well.
Also, I believe the LS1 swap guy has pics with the front end completely opened up.
