You know, I never committed to a final measurement yet. There's so many pieces parts popping off both these motors I keep coming up with different numbers. Tech docs are only showing "core" measurements so that's not much help as they are very close.

The aa80e is 1.5" longer though. Got that ready to go.

The plan is NO ISF sheet metal. I want the hood to remain the same which means the latch isn't moving...custom mounts for radiator, condenser, tranny cooler will be used if necessary. They'll be plenty of updates once I pull this motor.

I hope you pull this off...I know this idea has been in the minds of a lot of ISx50 owners for a very long time

I guess an additional 2 inches wouldn't be too bad; surely things can be re-located or bent to make it all fit. LOL!

Inched closer to starting this swap today. Motor is ready to come out pending 3 fuel lines...just have to find a few hours to pull it now!

There's more room then I thought front to back in there!

Guess what, the motor FITS like it came with the car !!!!!!!!!!!!
Using ISF motor mounts, IS350 subframe, fits like a glove with a good amount of space front to back.

Out with the old

2urgse going in for test fitment

Who. Said. It. Wouldn't. Fit !?!?!?!?!?

Side clearance

Front clearance. Very optimistic the IS350 radiator will fit

Last but not least - Closing the hood looks very promising!
