Question I have a question. Please help

When i step on the gas hard to increase the speed, the RPM meter tended to stall at 5-7 for at least 2-4 seconds or i have to left my foot off the gas pedal until it can able move to the next gear on automatic.. Do you guys know what?
I installed the Takeda short ramp intake in it. Other than that everything is stock. Looking to buy the HKS hi-power exhaust and that will be it.. Please help me out. This is my first car i buy it with my own money.. Yes it is used lexus is250 2010 24350 mile now got it almost a month now...

Has it been doing that ever since you installed the intake? Did you connect the maf sensor that goes on the intake back or did you maybe drop or damage it when you were installing your intake?

No, i didn't drop it or damage it. When i removed the maf sensor, i installed it in the new takeda intake short ramp pile right away. Didn't move it outside or anything. Do you think i should buy a new maf sensor just in case?

no, car is perfectly fine if i drive normal. unless i want to accelerate hard on the highway, the rpm meter will stall for 2-3 seconds before it can go to the next gear on automatic mode..

if you are on "sport" mode, with hard stepping on gas, the car will always pick and stay in the higher RPM range, probably between 3-6.

Not sure about your 2IS, but mine downshifts like a champ in less than 1 second when mashed at any speed.

Perhaps a reset of the systems will force the vehcile to "re-learn" your driving habits.
