Confirmation IS350 AWD

I'm shopping for a car and this guy is on autotrader saying he has a AWD IS350. I thought you could only get AWD on the 250 with smaller engine. Is this guy on drugs or am I misinformed about drivetrain options?

There is awd is350, but that's the newer years....I believe 2010 and up. That link is a 2008 so the is350 only came in rwd

Yup. 2011+ AWD for the is350. I own one.

Yes I have one as well, seems like its a bit rare with the 2IS.

only starting 2011 is when the 350 came in AWD

that car is RWD for sure, you can tell by the wheels it's a 350 and the side mirrors bumper and grille it's a 2006-2008, so AWD is out of the question

OR the dude could just put on 350 RWD wheels on a 250 AWD (bad) and selling it as a 350 AWD...so POP THE HOOD AND CHECK THE ENGINE.....also check for the bulge down by driver's side right foot

This guy can't be trusted. Pop the good to be sure. Make sure you get service records. And remember, this guy doesn't know his left from his right. Have him pay the inspection at a Lexus dealer. And you'll "pay him back" (add it to the final price of the vehicle) when you settle on the price.

Thanks again. Right now I'm toying with jdm engine replacement or selling the car as is and using the money to get into something newer.

$20k is my budget. Wife wants a honda accord because she says it's simple, cheap on gas, and not expensive if something breaks. I love honda for their reliability but I fking hate fwd.
