Seized caliper
I've read alot about rear calipers seizing. I've had my front caliper pins seize. The first time I replaced one side at the dealership, second time i decided to free up the caliper pin and cleaning it and re-lubed it. Just wondering what part of the rear caliper is prone to seizing? is it also the caliper pin?
Also lightly grease the outer lip of the seal that covers the sliding pin, as that is the reason why we run into these problems. The grease will hopefully create a mositure barrier between the seal and the caliper.
