I have mine sitting in my back seat. After two failed attempts of trying to put it on, I've given up and I'm gonna have a shop install it. The fitment isn't too great =/

Anyways, I love the diffuser. You should definitely paint it how others are suggesting. Outside body color and inside black.

had it been cf, i would say leave it since it breaks up the silver. but anything else, i vote paint it as well
