Angry Lexus IS250 Lowering HELP!!!

Hey guys i need some help on lowering my 2006 lexus is250.im currently running 19x8.5 et.35 all around.im thinking of getting h & r lowering springs but wanted to know if i need to change the shocks/struts if so i need recommendations on the best cheapest shocks their is.i could really use some help thanks.also how many inches should i lower.i dont want it to rub on tire and i dont want to see a big gap!!! i was thinking 1.4 front drop and back drop 1.3.lmk what you guys think and i need help!!!!

You dont need shocks if you decide to get springs, but they will wear them out faster so you will need new shocks eventually.

For the price of springs + shocks, I would personally just get coilovers instead.

what would be a good kit for a cheap price?and how long will they last normally?

The EZs are a good cheap set that cost less than $700. And any set of coils should last at least 30-40k miles, if not longer

Yes you dont need anything else. The coilover itself is an adjustable spring and shock combo.

You can get it cheaper if you buy them from one of our vendors. I got my EZs from CircuitMS

ok thanks and what would be your preference of drop beetween 1 inch to 2 inches?i dont want the tires to rub and i dont want a big gap.

My preference would be go as low as you can but thats just me. Im tucking tire on 20s right now so I dont think you want to go that low.

Your going to rub depending on how low you go and your wheel size/offsets.

BC coils are also good but might be a bit more than you want to spend. I also got my coils from CircuitMS just give them a call and have them quote out coils.

Got it installed and adjust the height you want then test drive it. You could do little adjustment from there if it rub
