Thoughts? -Painting the bottom to have a diffuser look

I used vinyl tape for the outer edge and then painters tape. You need to be careful when lifting the edge if you are using plasti dip because it will try and peel up with the tape. I recommend going over the tape edge lightly with a razor blade as you peel it.
