I went with 5K in all applications .I like 5K pure white light vs the 6K little tint of blue.

I really want to do this, but I don't want to take the chance of cracking any of my mirrors, which happened to some people who have tried it.

It's actually pretty easy. I just did it 2 days ago for the first time. Just adjust your mirrors all the way up. Then pull out towards you and it should pop off. You will then have access to the 4 screws you need to remove. Once you're done, pop the mirrors back in. Make sure to apply pressure on the bottom center of the mirror, not the outer edges.

Agree.....I had 6000k HIDs in my last car and at first I liked them. The longer I had them the more and more I started to hate the blue tint.

I have 5000k now and LOVE it.....it is perfect for headlights and puddle.

I have the 6K VLED's and they aren't blue at all. The dome lights and puddle lights are straight white.

From VLEDS site.

Cool White
These LEDs have a slight tint of blue to them. They are rated at 6,000-8,000 Kelvin.

Close but the 5K's are more of a bright white with no slight blue tint of the 6K LEDs...

THIS.

I also have the 6K all around if you want pics let me know but they're all white, NO hint of blue at all

EDIT: Purchased mine from VLED.

Just pop it out with a credit card, don't use anything like a screw driver because you may leave nicks in the plastic housing. VERY simple.

Has anyone tried the Tanin Auto Electronix one's? Just curious to see if they compare to the Vled's.

Just orderd the full set from Precision LED. They have an excellent install video as well on you tube. Discount code is youtube11. Got the whole set shipped for only 117 bucks. That is trunk, door, overhead, glove box, vainity, and puddle lights.
