Yes the $16 is worth it. The stock yellow bulbs always looked so ugly. Actually looks classy now.

Yes, these VLEDs flank LED are the brightest that I could find. They are brighter than stock halogen by far and brighter than any other knockoff LED bulbs as show in the pictures above.

I have not been able to find VLED bulbs anywhere else with the "claimed" same performance. So I personally wouldn't waste my time or money with anything else and order from VLED and just wait it out.

Waiting for these to be in stock at VLED as well!! Good thing I did research on this forum and did not buy the LED puddle lights from anywhere else yet.

 

The courtesy lights on the doors? If so you can buy them from ijdmtoy for like $36 I think I bought mine from them and I believe its a festoon bulb, they sell the whole set up including clear plastic cover not red... Now if you meant vanity lights then yes they are 194 series

 

Does the LED flank side face downwards? V-LEDs told me they hope they'll be back in stock at the end of the month but they have a new 360 style one available?

 

Yes the flank style faces downwards. It's part of what makes them so much brighter. I had some really good ones from Philips, which I bought through XenonDepot, but they're more of a projector bulb so the output wasn't that great.
