Avs Visors = fail
I get a set of avs visors for a pretty good deal, so I was feeling good about it, then I put them on... Not liking it at all, maybe if my car was black and not crystal white I would like it better. Or maybe those $400 ones from Nigel sit better. But for now I'm just ready to pop them off. Anyone agree, or disagree?

Yea I'm snapping pics right now to up load a little later. I honestly think its my white car, they just really stand out to me. And I like the subtle, functional style.

I was on the fence about the AVS seamless visors when I was in the market for visors. After seeking opinions from all the members here on CL I ended up getting Nigel to do a group buy for them. Still one of my favorite mods. I still don't think it was worth 350 bucks but it wasn't something I regretted spending money on either. But good thing about the AVS is there are still alot of members that like them and don't wanna spend that much money on JDM visors so you can easily resell them and try to get in on another group buy from Nigel

Yea that $400 is what made me go this route, I live in SC where it is hot and humid in the summers and can rain at any point. I mainly bought these to help protect my interior, I put a shade in my front glass everyday, even in winter. But I work inside a building for 10 - 12 hours a day, so my car literally bakes in the sun, and being afraid a big storm my role in and soak my interior keeps me from leaving my windows cracked, until now. They are on there and I am going to see if they grow on me. I've got some good pictures, and what I think is a better way to design these visors. It's just to pretty out to go inside right now and get on the computer haha!

Well it may make me go the dark route with my car, I already have jzsicklexi old headlights that are gunmetal, maybe I should do my fogs, black roof, black roof spoiler and black out my badges. And possibly a dark rim, right now I'm enjoying the smooth riding on stock wheels with fresh tires haha

I don't think it looks that bad bro, Ive had a few members post pics of their AVS before I bought my JDMs. My car is White too. Main reason why I went with the JDM is I heard with the AVS you had to do a little modifying to get it to fit properly and that after a while it warps and hits the window.

I got mine for a "song" and loved them initially. The AVS retail for around $120 and I got a set off of eBay for about $50. Put them on and a few months later noticed that they were starting to curve inward and the window would hit them when rolling them up. I called AVS and they actually sent me a replacement set (sweet)! Put them on, only to have the same thing happen a few months later with the replacements. In my opinion, the AVS visors aren't thick enough to keep them from "drooping". I still have them on, but will go with something else the next time.

It seems like if avs is willing to replace a set they would just use thicker plastic like the jdm ones they are replicating. Maybe ill get lucky and find some authentic ones for cheap on the forums haha

I used to have the AVS visors and didnt like them. They're too bulky and started to warp. I've seen the JDM ones in person and its a world of difference.
I'm not saying visors are worth $350-400, but if you WANT visors then get the JDM ones. You won't be disappointed
