Default Lip Install Question

I have a question I recently purchased a rear truck lip for my IS250 and I'm a little bit unsure as to how to install it to my trunk. I called the place that I purchased it from and they told me just to use the 3M molding tape it came with and be done with it. The package also came with mounting screws to drill into my trunk which one should I do? The 3M molding tape that the seller told me or use the screws. Has anyone done this before and if so what did you use the 3M tape or the screws?
Here is a link of the lip I got. Any answer will help me thanks

Truck lip for your IS250 trunk!?

jk

I used 3M tape and it hasn't fallen off for the past 10k miles and is still holding up very well.
Clean the trunk VERY well.
3M tape across the top and bottom of the trunk lip where it touches the trunk.
Remove the tape cover and carefully place it on the trunk.
Align it till its perfect and hold and press the lip on the trunk for about 2-3 minutes.
I recommend doing this in warm weather.
Heat the 3M tape with a hair dryer (optional) while pushing the trunk lip on to the trunk.

Good luck!
