What tires did you put on your IS 250?
Hi again!
What tires did you put on your lexus is 250? I've got a 2008 with the factory brand tires that the previous owners replaced for a whopping $1000 for four! Any suggestions?
Thank you!
Rachelle

What is your budget?
I happily buy $1200 for my IS350 tires every time I need to change them (but they are offsize 19", so that adds to the price tag!). Please remember that tires are the thing that connects your car to the road. The better the tire, the better you are able to stop, so they are really a safety feature. Please don't skimp out on them and make sure you are buying a quality tire!
A have Yokohama S. Drives on my daily driver IS300 and I am very happy with them. It looks like you can buy these from tire rack for about $500. They are an Ultra High Performance Tire that Tire Rack ranked third in it's category. I really like to keep it around 300 A/AA and under.... However, once you start getting into the Extreme Performance, you begin to loose handling in wet conditions in for the sake of stickiness in dry conditions.
Bridgestones are always a nice option, too, and many people on here run Hankook Ventus V12s without problems (including my boyfriend).
People tend to really find a brand and stick with it. For me, it's Yokohama, so I may be a bit biased.
Tire rack is really a great source of knowledge and you can learn a lot by researching over there.

Just had my rear tires replaced not long ago with the Falken Azenis PT-722 tires. Love them! Will probably replace the fronts with a set of them too when its ready to be changed. I think you can get all four tires for about $600 (For stock 18s on a RWD).
The Hankook Ventus V12s are pretty popular here. Michelin Pilot Sports as well, though they are expensive, they seem to be well worth the money.

Got the Hankooks on mine and am very happy with them. And I am extremely picky! Low noise, good cornering, smooth ride, and wearing very very well. Were also priced low back in 2011.

I was able to find nankang for 103 in eBay, for 103 per tire the rears were like 20 dollars more, but to my door for 4 around 500 can't beat it. The dealer charged me 260 for one last time, not happening again!!

I heard continental DWS is good for traction and ride comfort, but never heard of them mount on a ISX50. In CA, you can check continental DW. Also, I heard the sidewalls on these tires are soft. These tires ranked #1 review on tirerack.

I have the DSW, I wouldn't recommend them though if you're trying to match stock comfort. They have good handling (way better than stock), but are kinda loud (less than stock) and tend to vibrate so make sure you get a road force balance.

hankooks for $500-600 like everyone suggested
Or go all out an get PSS for +$1000. these are the best tires possible for street use.
I would only consider these two as long as you don't live in incremental weather. Hankooks are best bang for your buck, and PSS are just the best.

I actually think they're more quiet compared to the original tires my car came with (Dunlop SP Sport)
