Default Heated/cooled seats switch question...

I have noticed that the round dial part of the switch does not light up, is this the same on any of yours? The light will be orange or green depending on which you select but not the dial? I hope this makes sense.

Thanks

Everything should be illuminated but the pic with the seat and fan. Are your headlights off? I just checked in my car and my headlights are on auto. I can check again if need be with them off.

Dial should light up if your headlights are on (with the rest of your interior lights) . Make sure the plug is fully connected, mine got loose somehow at one point and that caused it to not light up.

And it's not that bright so I'm not sure if you can see it in the daylight.

Thanks for the replies, I will check the connector to make sure it's not loose. I have noticed that the passenger side vanity mirror light isn't working either and i checked the bulb but it's ok. I'll double check the fuses too just in case.

So last week I finally got around to investigating this problem. I started by checking all the fuses and everything looked good. I then started to take the trim out and check the feed to the bulbs with a test light. Everything was good and the bulb was not blown! After an hour or so of checking wires etc, I gave up and decided to come back another time after researching more.

Anyway, while driving home the other night I now noticed that the lights that illuminate the gear position were not working! I got a little frustrated and banged the side of the console to see if it was a loose connection and to my surpise ALL the lights came on!

Problem solved for now, I still need to take the trim off again to check for a bad ground!
