Default should I pay for this?

Hey guys, I ordered some tires from discounttire, and they recommend me to pay extra $50 to get the "computer ride matching?" that what they said it make the tires and wheels run smooth, but I got my tires installed from them before and never have the issues of any shake or vibration, so do you guys think is it worth to pay extra $50 for that balance? thanks
PS: the tires are Hankook V12 K110 245/30/20 and 285/30/20

Sounds like Discount Tires version of Jiffy Lubes Transmission Service.

Count my vote as No.

If you haven't any problem, why you have to pay for it. No at this time.
If you have problem after tires install, you could always come back and do it.

think about it. Also, they always adding $20 for TPMS rebuild (which is not need to me) so check it out as well

It is likely a road-force balance. It is a better way to balance the tires, but most of the time I'd usually only recommend it if you are having issues with tire balance.

The hunter roadforuce 9700 is, in my opinion, the best balancer. If you find a shop with one, I'd take your wheels and tires there to that shop. Regardless of if it is a discount tire or not.

The one closest to my office does not charge extra for using a hunter 9700. Take that for what you feel it's worth.

Perhaps they were recommending a "high-speed" balancing?

I view this and the TPMS rebuild as "extended warranty" style services. I would not pay for either.

Like others have said, I wouldn't pay for this extra option - service. Good luck with the new tires.

naw not worth $50 if they said $20 then maybe but it's not speed balancing, that's the only balance ill spend extra money on.

I agree with pretty much what everyone above said. Don't do it unless you have issues with the standard service.

What the hell is that white stuff?

[Hanging out in Houston with 66*F weather]

Brave man running those wheels with snow! Make sure you protect them (using sealant) so the salt on the road won't damage the finish
