Default Help major malfunction

Hello,
I have 2007 Lexus IS250 AWD 50k miles.Last night I had a major malfunction. The car will not start currently. After jumping it to get it home I had no power steering, lights were dimming, navigation system was resetting while driving, speedo would dip to 0MPH while travel 30+mph. Also almost every dash light was on. VSC, traction control, check engine, battery light, abs, and several others. I reset the battery and noe have no power what so ever.

Sounds like your alternator could be the culprit.euther it's not charging your battery or the battery itself is unable to hold charge. I think it's the alternator . Let's see what others have to say

i would say it is the alternator as well...had that happen before on another car that i owned and all the indicators lit up meaning i was running on battery power...or it could also be like what Offspring said that the battery might not be holding the charge, but i think it is the alternator.

Also check drive belt, since no power steering.

The power steering is electronic, not hydraulic. As for the possibility of the drive belt, the car would have certainly run hot within a short distance because the water pump wouldn't have been pumping water through the radiator. I would start with the alternator, as others have said.

It's actually electronic. Others stated alternator. I agree it's a great place to start but while you're at it I would double check the battery just I case.

you need a new AC compressor... jk, alternator needs to be replaced! but since the belts off, might as well replace that too. and since the batery had to be jumped, replace that too!

The alternator it was.
I'd say alternator and oil change for $325 is a hell of a deal!
lucky to know mechanics.

Literally hat this exact same thing happen to me in my Prelude at a stop light on a 45mph road, not fun. Its 100% without a doubt your alternator, never replaced one in the x50 but its a 2 hour job with an $83 part in the Lude. Glad everything worked out.
