Default sound not working on passenger side

i've changed the balance and noticed only music on the driver side.

ive also played around with sound position where you can place it anywhere in the car (rear, front, driver, etc)

no avail. mind you, the sound used to work and i only just noticed it today.

diagnosis?

So you played with the stereo settings, and afterward it only plays in the driver's seat location? Sounds like you missed an option.

So if you set the balance to the right side only, you get no audio at all?

Gville, i put it back on POS ALL which, correct me if i'm wrong, plays it throughout the entire car.

Slammer1, once it was back at POS ALL, i put the balance all the way on the passenger side and heard no music at all

Though "extreme", perhaps a hard reset might help (aka, disconnect the battery).

Disconnect battery and reset. If the problem persists, check the connection to the speaker.

do you remember if you heard crackling out of the passenger speakers? i've been hearing that lately (sporadically), and i'm afraid the speakers might go out soon.

I've had this problem before but it was because my aux cable was a little bit messed up.

Is this with the radio and AUX? Have you tried both?
