InspireME, I'm thinking the same thing as you. Mines an F-Sport spoiler off eBay so it's most likely a replica version. I tried using my finger nails to dig into the tape but it's rock solid, must be the clear coat or some thing.

Or maybe I need to use a flat-head screw driver to force the old tape off...

Yeah. Use a razor blade to cut off the side of the paint/tape. Then use a blowdryer + flathead to remove it.

Let us know how it goes

Congrats on the spoiler! I just put an F-Sport spoiler on mine and love it. I probably could have went with the replica but I didn't want to deal with paint.

Here's mine:

Really? Did you pay around $100? I saw a few on Ebay but I had already ordered from Sewell. I hope I didn't pay a massive premium for nothing lol.

I just purchased mine on eBay from Taiwan, it came pre-painted to my factory color. It was $208. It even says Toyota on the back, so I'm assuming it is real, it has all of the groves shaved off though.

Yup, mine was from Taiwan too. Paint job is pretty good but not 100% perfect. I can see tiny chips and spots if i look really closely. I got it for $95 painted and includes postage to US.
