There is a TSB for the GS's making a noise from the windshield area. Only when its warm

The fix is to pull down the headliner in the rear and cut off the points of the windshield retaining clips. Camrys have the same TSB

Might be something to look into. I believe my car does it when it has been sitting in the sun all day. The best way I can describe it is, like you are pushing in the plastic off a cheap water bottle. Kind of like a creak

nothing big. you see that bolt thats holding the blue/brown box? i just tightend it and the noise was gone completely.

honestly, i was too excited about fixing the rattle, didnt really care what that box was for. i believe its a smart key box. not 100% sure.
