Default 2009 is250 puddle not working?

i checked previous threads and can not get a confirm answer on which fuse it could be. i purchase the car last week with 30k miles and the puddle never worked and i want to know what could it be? any experience on which exact fuse and/or how could both lights be burned out? thanks

I had a thread like this a couple weeks ago...maybe on the other Lexus board.

I thought the same, but sometimes they don't come on when you walk up as the manual says. Try to unlock using the fob and you'll be able to tell for sure if they don't work.

I actually checked every fuse and took apart one light and replaced it. At first it didn't seem to work, but then when I unlocked with the fob the lights came on.

happens to me sometimes they greet me and most of the time they dont. no explanation from lexus either. it must be a bad sensor or something. they will always come on if i unlock using the key fob tho.

Thought the same, but it can't be a sensor because it does the other stuff (i.e. interior lights).

Maybe it depends on if you locked it at all, with the fob, or with the handle button? Too lazy to determine...
