Default Exaust help!

Just purchased my is350. Have done days of investigating through the forum and other sources but am torn between the exaust. My taste is very loud and clean (f-sport to me isn't loud enough in my opinion). I absolutely love the wald exaust system but the price is too high for me. I thought of deleting secondary cats, res, and mufflers. How would that sound? Should i delete secondary cats and res and get an axle-back exaught? Please respond, it will be greatly appreciated.

Okay well there's a lot of things you want going on here lol. If you delete everything and run straight pipes, it's not gonna be a clean sound, your car is gonna be very loud and rough sounding. If you want the nice sound of an F-Sport and have it louder, just get an F-Sport and do a resonator delete. If that isn't loud enough for you, then get an Invidia midpipe too. It will be loud and clean sounding. The loudest axle-back exhaust is the hks hi-power.

Res delete creats rasp with f-sport. Ive heard hks hi power with invidia midpipes and it still wasnt loud enough for me. When i said clean i really ment withought any rasp. I dont mind a rough mean sound but i absolutly hate rasp. Im going for a more loud and deep sound. Also would an X pipe be a good idea on secondary cats?

You can get midpipes. Invidia is louder than Megan. It's pretty booming.

If you like loud and clean I'd look into pairing an F-Sport exhaust with an Invidia midpipe. Here are some clips from when I had that setup on my car: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...a-midpipe.html

"deep loud roar"?

open-element intake + PPE headers + invidia midpipes + HKS hi-power.

add an electronic cut-out if you want to run open exhaust.

there's really nothing else on the market in terms of bolt-ons that will be able to recreate the sound you're looking for.

BTW, since you're in california, you run a very high risk of not being able to pass smog with that kind of set-up.

the headers alone would be out of his price range if the OP can't afford fsport.

I would suggest camping out the classified section for a used exhaust, the good ones tend to pop up from time to time. Otherwise, there's not much you can do to avoid the rasp if your on a budget.

Well if you've heard an HKS Hi-Power with Invidia I'm not sure what can be louder without muffler deletes lol.
Here's my setup (I know you said you don't like rasp but iono what really constitutes rasp lol)

and

That's 1 muffler delete

If you want a really loud setup with no rasp I would check out chi123's exhaust

He has like full straight pipes coming out to 2 cherrybomb mufflers or something lol

I'm also thinking about deleting my 2nd cats as well. I currently only have a res delete. What kind of sound should I expect with the 2nd cat delete and res delete?
