2007 IS250 DVD Nav Update - DVD auto-ejects
OP here reviving this post 6 years later! Time to trade in my car, so I am looking for any other ideas. I have lived without nav and just used my phone, but don't want to get docked on the trade in price.
The dealer claims I need an entire new nav, but they didn't really try anything to fix it. Has this happened to anyone else?

Does it play music or movies? If no, it may have a mechanical problem. If yes, it may be a software issue of a botched install.
is this the PN you have?

It's the 2007 so the nav map is behind the panel. There is no DVD, but there is a separate CD player that's fine.
It all started when I tried to use an eBay disk to upgrade five years ago.
Not sure what you mean by PN?

SOLVED.
Found a trick in another thread to disconnect the battery for ten minutes before installing. I picked up a new disk, did the battery trick and it booted right up.
Thanks all
